The "Viae" project, created by Cavim and Morini Wines, the firm of the Tenute d'Italia brand, was presented on November 6, 2021, on the occasion of the Baccanale, the traditional Imola festival, in the presence of the mayor of the city of Romagna, Marco Panieri , and of a large audience.
“Viae”’s source of inspiration were the ancient consular roads, fundamental routes during the Roman era, starting from Via Appia in Lazio, Via Cassia, Via Flaminia and of course Via Emilia, which crosses our region. And if in Roman times all roads led to Rome, the center of the empire, now they seem to lead ... to Imola.
"A successful joint venture between two companies from Imola, which carry the "Viae "label and the wine of our territory around the world, through Tenute d'Italia", with the aim of creating constant quality over time ", said Maurizio Baldisserri, president of Cavim.
From sparkling Pignoletto DOC to Albana, from Sangiovese Rubicone IGP and Superiore, from still and sparkling Trebbiano to Chardonnay, up to Syrah Lazio and Roma DOC red: sixteen wines for a label that is already a success: "Our greatest im is that of re-evaluating the wine production of our territory ", confirmed Guido Garelli of Morini Vini," we know its quality, history and tradition, and we are convinced that it can bear ever better fruits and results ".
