Video Blog: Starting the New Series on Italian Wine Denominations

In the article dedicated to the presentation / tasting of our Chardonnay Trebbiano Rubicone I.G.P. "Il Fascinoso" we referred to the double mention of grape variety that appears in its denomination

Maybe few have noticed this little detail... but what if we told you that it would be possible to produce a Rubicone I.G.P. with a cut of Chardonnay and Trebbiano but showing only one of the two types on the label? What would be the difference between these two wines in the eyes of the law, but especially in those of the consumer?

We have already had occasion to mention the issue of the importance of the label as a source of information on the wine we are going to consume, and we have decided that the first step in investigating this important theme should be taken precisely in the field of denominations. We start with the production of a series of videos dedicated to the explanation of their meaning, and further, to all the information they contain and, consequently, that they are able to transmit to us.

The stages of our journey will be the names included in the commercial offer of Tenute d'Italia, starting from the region that gave birth to our project, Emilia-Romagna, and will offer us a perfect opportunity to present you an even closer view of our company, our philosophy, and above all our products.

All contributions will be available in English (YouTube) and Chinese (YouKu): for more information, we invite you as usual to contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by filling in the appropriate form on our website.

  • images/SCHEDAVINO_SITO2.jpg

2020 has certainly marked a change in the work of Tenute d’Italia, especially from the point of view of communication. The strong desire to stay by the side of our customers has in fact motivated us to develop new tools enabling us to stay close, even during this most difficult historical period: therefore, we have heightened our social media presence by selecting the most important platforms for each specific market reference and launching an important ad hoc multimedial endeavour for our clients.

Despite the hope of putting behind us all the difficulties that have marked the last few months, the Tenute d’Italia network intends to value the experience gained and face the future with the desire to follow this learning curve for a greater and even better interchange with our public

So, we start this new year by highlighting some innovations in our corporate website www.tenuteditalia.com recently set up by our communication team to make navigation an easier and richer experience.

The main changes are as follows:

NAVIGATION

  • It is now possible to change the language settings within each single page.

CONTENTS / TECHNICAL DATA SHEETS

  • Insertion of new pictures, now able to show the packaging of each individual bottle in greater detail;
  • Update of the prizes section by inserting the most recent awards obtained by each wine and, the main innovation, a link - where available - to the competition page to view the official evaluation form;
  • Where possible, implementation of the presentation of each wine by means of reviews
  • Insertion of an in-depth link to access more multimedial material relative to each individual bottle.

Remember that from the Home Page, by filling out the appropriate form, it’s possible to download the new Tenute d’Italia catalogue; alternatively, within the respective presentation pages, brochures dedicated to each individual brand are available.
